In the past, plenty of drivers have been won over by the charm of the Mini Hatchback but then feel crestfallen when they realise it’s about as practical as a matchbox. So Mini sent its designers and engineers back to the drawing board and the result was a more family-friendly, five-door version offering slightly more space and usability. The two rear doors are small but they do make it easier for passengers to get in and out of the back.
