This 3 Series sticks obediently to the tried and tested formula. It offers keen drivers plenty of reward, has a brilliant automatic gearbox, and some of the lowest running costs in it's class. It has such a wide range of abilities that, as an all-rounder, it's still one of the best small saloons. The 3 Series is a car that has evolved steadily over time, and the bulk of the changes for 2015 are rather hard to spot unless you’re a brand historian.
